Gallara Artist Editions

Bring your work into beautiful homes.

Gallara partners with artists, photographers, illustrators, and designers to create premium framed art, canvas pieces, and gallery wall sets for real homes, hosts, designers, and collectors. If your work belongs in thoughtful interiors, we would love to see it.

You make the art. Gallara curates, produces, frames, markets, and sells it. You keep ownership and earn from every qualifying sale.

Artist FAQ

The honest answers.

Ownership, products, payment, exclusivity — before you apply.

Do artists keep ownership of their work?

Yes. Our standard model is licensing, not ownership transfer. You keep copyright ownership unless a separate written buyout or assignment is specifically agreed.

What products can my work appear on?

Depending on the agreement: framed prints, unframed prints, canvas pieces, gallery wall sets, room edits, and trade or hospitality packages. Allowed products are listed explicitly in your license.

Do you accept AI-generated art?

We require disclosure of any AI-assisted work. We don't accept work that imitates living artists, uses copyrighted references without permission, or creates unclear ownership risk.

How are artists paid?

Royalties on qualifying sales, per your agreement — calculated on net merchandise revenue (what the customer actually paid for the product, after discounts and refunds, excluding shipping and taxes). You receive a sales summary with every payout.

Can I sell the same artwork elsewhere?

Under the Open License model, yes — it's non-exclusive. Under an Exclusive Edition, specific uses are exclusive to Gallara for a defined period, product category, and territory, and we pay for that difference.

Can Gallara change my artwork?

We may crop, resize, and prepare artwork for print production — but you approve the first product mockups, and any significant visual change requires your approval.

I'm represented by a gallery or agency. Can I still apply?

Yes — as long as you confirm you have the right to license the submitted work to Gallara.
